- You didn't get ripped ... I got an eprom chip from the new line of
- sportsters... they don't work in the older models ... like the one I
- own ... turns out, if your modem doesn't come already with a v.34+
- chip, you gotta buy one ... I paid $56.00 Canadian for mine .. I have
- yet to see a 31.2 connection let alone a 33.6k ...
