  27. You didn't get ripped ... I got an eprom chip from the new line of
  28. sportsters... they don't work in the older models ... like the one I
  29. own ... turns out, if your modem doesn't come already with a v.34+
  30. chip, you gotta buy one ... I paid $56.00 Canadian for mine .. I have
  31. yet to see a 31.2 connection let alone a 33.6k ...
